Sandra oversees all bicycle, pedestrian, and transportation demand management programs at the University of Kentucky. She serves as the Chair of the Lexington Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee. Sandra was on the planning committee for the 2018 Kentucky Bike Walk Summit. She currently serves on the board for the Broke Spoke Community Bike Shop, and on a strategic planning team for a newly-forming statewide nonprofit, the Kentucky Bike Walk Coalition. Sandra is also spearheading a group called Women Bike Lex, which aims to build community and inspire women and girls to ride bicycles more often.
