Walking and Biking in Memphis: A Local Primer

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will provide an overview of the Memphis biking and walking story.  I'll provide a look at how the active transportation movement began to build traction locally about six years ago, and how Memphis arrived at the state it's in today.  The presentation will focus on the development of infrastructure, but also touch on programming and community partnerships.  This will be a helpful session for both out-of-town visitors and locals new to the biking and walking scene, and offer background information beneficial to have for the other locally themed conference sessions.
