Creative Crowdsourcing Partnerships

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

ioby (In Our Backyard) is a crowd-resourcing platform that has enabled hundreds of community-led public space projects in several U.S. cities. ioby staff and project leaders from Memphis and other cities (NYDOT and Great Streets L.A., among others, have been invited to participate in the session) will provide case studies of partnerships between community groups, NGOs, and public agencies to implement innovative placemaking in public rights of way. Following presentations and Q&A, an interactive breakout portion of the session will allow participants to develop their own project concepts in collaboration with other attendees. Session presenters will facilitate an overview of the process, from project idea, to developing partnerships, assembling a project and resource team, and navigating possible city agencies involved.
